Our thread racks are made up of crossbars and rods with pegs for holding standard spools of thread. The crossbars are made in your choice of oak or cherry and the vertical rods and pegs are made from Baltic birch wood. Each is finely sanded and given a natural finish to bring out the beauty of the wood grain. The crossbars come in 5 different widths holding from 2 to 6 rods. The rods come in three different lengths, 16”, 24” and 32”. By choosing the correct crossbar and rod length you can accommodate your needs according to wall space or number of thread spools you wish to store. Please feel free to call if you need help in figuring out your rack size.
Wall thread racks can be customized according to your wall size or the number of spools you wish the rack to hold. We can accommodate other sizes, please contact for availability. You must account for 5 inches between each vertical rod to accommodate the thread spools plus 1 inch overhang on each crossbar. Example: A rack that holds 6 rods 32 inches in length would be 28 inches wide and 32 inches long and hold 186 spools of thread.
